Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan barcodes on displays and aisles. You will use a mobile app to collect data and help improve product performance across grocery and convenience channels.

Roles involve standing for long periods, traveling between stores, and meeting weekly deadlines. Flexible hours are offered with additional project work throughout the year, especially Jan–Jun.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across stores.
• Perform in-store data collection year-round, including holidays.
• Meet weekly deadlines for data delivery to clients.
• Travel is paid at your hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes).
