Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers and collect in-store data. You will scan barcodes across displays and aisles using a mobile app and contribute to improving product performance for major chains such as Walmart and Kroger.

Flexibility in hours and paid travel are offered, with ongoing projects and weekly deadlines. A reliable vehicle, license, and Wi‑Fi are required, and the role involves standing for long periods in various store environments.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in designated stores weekly using a mobile app.
• Record quantities for a portion of scanned products and complete data collections.
• Perform weekly store-wide display scanning and possible Custom Projects.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data to clients.
• Travel to assigned retailer locations with flexible hours and compensation for travel time.
