Job summary

Cash America Pawn is seeking entry‑level, part‑time Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn store team. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and helps customers with sales, loans and other transactions across jewelry, tools, electronics, and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Earned Wage Access, 401k and discounts are available. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18 years old+ and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures.
• Keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and merch displays.
• Handles sales and loan transactions per policies and procedures.
• Manages cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions.
• Communicates with coworkers and managers respectfully.
• Partners with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.
