RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming, assisting, and thanking customers in a warm, genuine, and attentive manner
• Learning about our merchandise and confidently communicating product details to customers
• Processing purchases through our Square POS system
• Carefully wrapping and packaging fragile items
• Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the shop, including vacuuming, dusting, and general cleaning

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Is dependable, punctual, communicative, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Has previous retail or customer-service experience
• Is polished, approachable, and confident engaging with customers
• Enjoys staying busy and is comfortable both taking direction and showing initiative
• Can handle challenging situations while remaining calm and level-headed
• Can regularly lift small to medium-sized boxes and occasionally assist another team member with moving small to medium-sized furniture
• Has a genuine interest in antiques, vintage pieces, and interiors, with a strong eye for detail
• Has consistent weekend availability, with some weekday and holiday availability preferred
• Is comfortable with dogs, as the owner’s very calm and sweet French Bulldog is also a member of the in-store team

We are hiring for both ongoing part-time positions and seasonal part-time roles. Shifts are generally scheduled from 11:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Weekend availability is required. Additional days and hours may become available during the holiday season and for special events.

COMPENSATION

$17 to $20/per hour, depending on experience.
