Job summary

FoundRae is seeking a Seasonal Sales & Operations Assistant at our New York boutique to support the client experience and daily operations during the holiday season. You will help ensure a warm, inviting space, assist with product presentation, wrapping, and client interactions with our luxury standards.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing flow, pulling merchandise for viewings, wrapping gifts, and supporting inventory, shipping, and store presentation.

• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or client service preferred.
• High level of attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
• Comfort handling high-value merchandise and following inventory, security and operations procedures.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Seasonal Sales & Operations Assistant

POSITION SCOPE:

The Seasonal Sales & Operations Assistant supports the client-facing experience and the daily operational flow of the boutique during our holiday season. This role ensures the space is warm and inviting, helps maintain presentation standards, and supports the sales and operations teams with hospitality, product wrapping, and pulling merchandise to support the team ensuring that every client interaction reflects FoundRae values. This role will support the holiday season.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warmly greet and welcome clients, creating an elevated first impression / Help manage client flow during peak traffic, communicating wait times and connecting clients with the appropriate Stylist or member of management.
• Support hospitality throughout the client visit
• Assist the sales team by pulling and preparing product for client viewings / Support preparation for client appointments, including product pulls, presentation materials, hospitality and resetting the space following appointments.
• Assist with product wrapping and presentation for client purchases / Support holiday gifting requests with exceptional attention to detail, including gift notes, packaging, shipping information and presentation.
• Prepare gifting materials and support replenishment of packaging supplies
• Respond to clients in a welcoming and inviting manner across all forms of communication / Support Stylists and management with client communication and remote selling needs as directed, including product imagery, gifting, shipping and order preparation

Store Operations

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and back-of-house. / Continuously reset and replenish client-facing and selling areas throughout the day to ensure the boutique remains presentation-ready during peak traffic.
• Support inventory-related tasks, including pulling and returning product to secure storage
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth daily flow
• Pack and prepare outgoing shipments with accuracy and care
• Ensure all outgoing packages meet FoundRae standards and shipping timelines
• Support store presentation and housekeeping, informing management of any needs
• Support closing duties, including securing product, cabinets, and doors as directed / Handle high-value merchandise according to established security and product-handling procedures, maintaining accuracy and accountability when pulling and returning product.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities / Ability to remain composed, polished and service-oriented during periods of high client volume.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the season

This is a temporary, seasonal position supporting FoundRae's holiday business. The expected pay for this role is approximately $25-$28 an hour.
