Fritz & Fräulein in New York is seeking reliable, personable, outgoing part-time sales associates to join our small retail team. We’re an independent, woman-owned shop specializing in European antiques and vintage décor, in-house leather goods, candles, gems and minerals, and other thoughtfully sourced objects in a calm and curated space.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, sharing product details, processing purchases on Square, wrapping items carefully, maintaining shop appearance,

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer-service experience.
• Polished, approachable, and confident engaging with customers.
• Able to stay busy and take direction or show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming, assisting, and thanking customers in a warm, genuine, and attentive manner.
• Learning about our merchandise and confidently communicating product details to customers.
• Processing purchases through our Square POS system.
• Carefully wrapping and packaging fragile items.
• Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the shop, including vacuuming, dusting, and general cleaning.
• Restocking, light merchandising, and maintaining stock organization in both the front and back of house.
• Opening and closing the store independently.
• Carefully packing and shipping online orders with close attention to detail.
• Assisting with deliveries and processing new inventory; as well as occasional events.
• Working collaboratively with the owner and the rest of the team.
