Job summary

State of New Hampshire is hiring part-time Retail Salesperson I for multiple NH Liquor Outlets across the state. The position pays an hourly rate of $15.93 with overtime on Sundays listed at $23.89.

Roles require the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and to be at least 18 years old. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, process transactions, and merchandise alcohol products while following NH Liquor Commission policies.

Qualifications

• 8th grade education is required.
• Two years of high school or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old on date of application.
• Applicants subject to criminal background and reference checks.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and handle up to 25 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a retail outlet.
• Assist customers by locating products and answering questions.
• Process purchases and handle payments at POS.
• Learn NH Liquor Commission policies and store procedures.
• Unloads deliveries and stocks merchandise on sales floors.
• Reconcile sales records and assist with inventory counts.
