Job summary

The Salvation Army West Covina thrift store is seeking a dedicated Part-time Sales Lead to help manage daily store operations, support donations, and ensure a positive customer and donor experience.

You'll collaborate with the Store Manager, coach team members, and maintain strong community relations while delivering efficient service. Minimum HS diploma, 1+ year retail experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Position offers $19.00 per hour and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager in day-to-day operation of the store.
• Coordinate operations in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Provide coaching, training and development to store employees.
• Ensure customer/donor needs are met with excellent service and community relations.
• Oversee cash handling and banking per ARCC policy.
• Implement loss prevention measures as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
