Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, answer questions, and guide shopping while maintaining accuracy at the cash register and protecting store assets.

You will stock shelves, unload trucks, restock merchandise, keep bathrooms and floors clean, and contribute to a safe, friendly, professional store environment. This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
