Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Troy, Alabama, to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, keep the store stocked, and ensure a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to store procedures, with physical tasks including lifting and frequent movement. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
