Job summary

Family Dollar in Brinkley, AR is hiring a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Follow other duties as assigned by leadership.
