Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, secure store environment.

This part-time role at Perry, Oklahoma requires friendly interactions with customers and teamwork with store leadership. A high school diploma is preferred and lifting 30–50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
