Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Oklahoma LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Previous retail or service experience is preferred, and you will be expected to lift merchandise up to 50 lbs and stock shelves. The role requires strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
