Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, stocked store in Frederica, Delaware.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, replenishing stock, ensuring safety, and providing friendly, professional service. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and strong communication and problem-solving skills while supporting store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandise recovered.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
