Job summary

Family Dollar in Cut Bank, MT is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly, reliable shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and safe.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer-service experience. You must lift 30–50 lbs, stand long periods, and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
