Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions, and help unload shipments while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and employee benefits as described in our store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store settings preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operational documents and follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and stair climbing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
