Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly and efficient shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires good communication and problem solving, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. This is a part-time position located in Salem, OR, offering opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks
