Job summary

Dollar Tree in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and store areas clean.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, restocking, maintaining safety and courtesy, and supporting leaders and teammates. The role requires good communication, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting).
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and support stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
