Dollar Tree Stores INC in Tinton Falls, NJ is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include unloading and stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, and delivering friendly, professional service with colleagues and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
