Job summary

Family Dollar in Red Springs, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lift and move merchandise as needed and work part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
