Job summary

Dollar Tree in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help with stock replenishment.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer a friendly, fast-paced work environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash removed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
