Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience at our Lansing store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, restock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work with store leadership to maintain safety and customer satisfaction while supporting daily operations and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related fields preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate the cash register.
• Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock and replenish merchandise; keep the store clean.
• Assist with unloading trucks and restocking as needed.
