Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC in Mannington, WV is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store neat and safe.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time options may be available, with opportunities for growth within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, grocery or pharmacy environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
