Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience in a part-time role at our Lock Haven, PA location. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep the store stocked, and maintain a safe, clean environment while delivering friendly interactions with customers and teammates.

Key duties include assisting customers, managing cash transactions, stocking shelves, unloading merchandise, and upholding security of assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
