Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is looking for a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload shipments while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliable teamwork, and physical stamina to handle lifting and moving merchandise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and manage regular walking, standing, and lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
