Job summary

Dollar Tree in East Wareham, MA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

You will stock shelves, unload trucks, participate in restocking, and ensure safety and friendliness in every interaction. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and previous retail or service experience; physical effort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas neat and presentable.
