Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Carmel, Indiana to provide exceptional service at the register and throughout the store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean and welcoming.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, multitasking at the cash register, and contributing to a safe, organized shopping environment. Part-time positions are available with standard retail hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail customer service experience in various settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
