Dollar Tree in Huntington, Indiana, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help keep the store clean and safe.

The role emphasizes friendly service and teamwork with leaders. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience are preferred. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
