Job summary

Dollar Tree in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly service and help customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and protect company assets.

You will keep shelves stocked, receive merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience; lifting up to 50 lbs, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service across retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
