Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers and provide a friendly, efficient experience. You will assist customers with questions, process sales at the register, and keep the store organized and well-stocked.

This role emphasizes protecting cash and assets, maintaining clean facilities including restrooms, and delivering respectful interactions with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
