Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time team member to assist customers, operate the cash register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked. You will engage with customers, process transactions, and support receiving and stocking duties.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, safety, and efficiency in daily store operations, with opportunities to develop retail experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push and pull

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
