Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to create a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store stocked and organized.

The role emphasizes safety, courtesy, and efficient service in a retail environment, with responsibilities spanning merchandise handling, cleaning, and collaboration with teammates and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform extensive walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
