Job summary

Family Dollar in Tularosa, NM is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. prior retail experience is preferred. Flexible part-time hours are available in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of store areas, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
