Job summary

Family Dollar in Bloomfield, New Mexico is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
