Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC in Ravenswood seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills, plus the ability to lift and move items as part of daily store duties. This is a part-time position in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
