Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Baxter, MN is hiring a Part Time Customer Service Team Member to help customers find products, run a fast checkout, and keep the store well-presented. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to uphold brand standards.

This role supports omni-channel functions like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, with cross-training in Custom Framing sales as needed. Evening and weekend shifts, plus physical duties, are expected.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move items as required.
• Comfort with checkout operations and basic store technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes; store recovery to maintain in-stock, well-merchandised store.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and Company policies.
