Job summary

Family Dollar in Winona, Texas is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and safety.

This part-time position requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and communicate effectively. You will help with stocking, unloading merchandise, and protecting store assets while providing friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
