Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, run the cash register, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous retail or service experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment according to productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep areas neat and presentable, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms.
