Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking Part-Time Retail Store Associates to welcome shoppers, process donations, and merchandise goods. You will operate a cash register, respond to customer needs, and support store operations with a positive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifying candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 16, and be able to lift 40 pounds. Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends is required to meet business needs.

• Strong communication and math skills are required.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
• Prior fast-paced retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous manner.
• Receive donations and merchandise, sort and rotate stock.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash at shift end.
• Keep fixtures clean and merchandise organized.
• Help meet daily production goals and support team.
