Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking part-time Retail Store Associates in Ankeny, IA to accept, sort, and merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service. Flexible days, evenings, and weekends are required.

Starting wage is $15.00/hour with an additional $1.00/hour on Saturday and Sunday shifts, plus bonus eligibility and merit increases. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing donations, operating the POS system, and keeping the sales floor organized.

Qualifications

• Excellent service and communication skills.
• Prior experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive donations and operate cash register.
• Sort and organize donations and merchandise for sale.
• Maintain clean and organized fixtures and floor.
• Meet daily production goals and balance cash register.
