Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Kalispell, MT is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers find products, assist with checkout, and participate in truck unloading and stocking. You will engage customers with the rewards program and guide them through store-centric solutions.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can stand for long periods, and work collaboratively to maintain in-stock displays and store recovery while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Friendly, helpful attitude and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store recovery for in-stock displays
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully with customers and colleagues; promote company values
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
