Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise and maintain a store section; carry‑out services and store cleaning.
• Ensure proper pricing, rotate products, and stock shelves, end displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, courteous customer assistance.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

Join our Smart & Final store operations team as a Part‑time Retail Associate at 338 Vallejo.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes for proper rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information.
• When requested, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform management‑assigned duties, which may include but are not limited to stocking and maintaining a store section, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

Qualifications
