Smart & Final is seeking a Part-time Retail Associate at the 409 Santa Rosa location in Santa Rosa, CA. You will stock shelves, price items, assist customers and maintain clean store areas while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English; interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and coworkers.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Lifting: regularly lift up to 25 lb, frequently up to 45 lb, occasionally up to 60 lb.

• Assure proper pricing, validate product rotation, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain interior and exterior areas, including the parking lot, as directed by store management.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers.
• Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
