The Opportunity

The Part-time Retail Associate performs management-assigned duties, which may include but may not be limited to stocking and maintaining a store section, carryout services, and store cleaning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes to validate proper rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers by providing them with current store and product information.
• When requested, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
