Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Beatrice, NE to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and supervise store associates to maintain a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform related physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide great service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and process directives.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of bathrooms and floors; restock as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
