Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail or grocery environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and keeping records
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash
• Ensure store policies, safety guidelines, and procedures are followed
• Help Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Keep restrooms clean and store areas neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
