Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lake Jackson, TX to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, organize merchandise and maintain clean, organized areas to company standards, and help the Store Manager supervise and train Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, loss prevention, and record keeping such as payroll and scheduling.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
