Job summary

Buehler’s Fresh Foods in Dover, Ohio, is looking for a part-time Restaurant Cook to help prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for dine-in customers. You will operate grills, fryers and related equipment, following established production procedures and keeping the work area clean and safe.

We value teamwork, reliability and flexibility, including weekend availability, and offer a $500 sign-on bonus. Prior line cook experience is welcome, but training is available for motivated newcomers.

Qualifications

• Attained at least 18 years of age; or 16-17 with equipment restrictions.
• Ability to stand, reach, lift 50 lb and occasionally 80 lb.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and perform simple math.
• Work in deli/kitchen with heat, steam and noise exposure.
• Reasonable accommodations possible to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the grill, fryers and related equipment.
• Set up, organize and prepare food using established procedures.
• Comply with sanitation, health and hygiene standards.
• Observe proper food handling techniques.
• Store food properly, date and label items.
• Assist foodservice team with any required preparation.
