Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct respiratory care in a pediatric hospital setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, educate patients and families, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including advanced support like ECMO and ventilation as needed. Recent graduates encouraged to apply and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BLS.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• No prior experience required; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively through documentation, handoffs, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educates patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to established standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Demonstrates advanced skills supporting specialized functions such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep studies, and cardiopulmonary rehab.
• Maintains continuous learning, prioritizes duties, and manages time effectively.
