Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a part-time day shift in Davenport, FL. You will provide bedside respiratory care, manage ventilators, perform blood gas analyses, and respond to code blue events as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have an active RRT license with NBRC credentials, BLS, and NRP where required, plus 1+ years of critical care experience. The role supports a faith-based health system with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
NBRC credential required for continued eligibility.
BLS certification required for all staff.
NRP certification required where applicable.
Respiratory therapy program completion through an accredited school.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care including aerosolized meds, oxygen therapy and ventilation.
Draw, analyze and report blood gas results and respond to rapid response/code blue events.
Manage ventilators (invasive and non-invasive) and document changes.
Assist with bronchoscopy and capnography; participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
